UK Facilities Manager

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week (between 8.30am and 5pm)

Location: Nottingham, United Kingdom

Travel is required for this role – We have offices in Nottingham, London and Manchester and retail stores up and down the country.

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Facilities Manager. This position is based in Nottingham, East Midlands, UK.

Let’s Talk about the Role

As Facilities Manager you will be part of the EMEA Facilities and Office Services Team.

Working with contractors you will uphold maintenance and servicing of VF offices and stores in the UK ensuring our buildings are compliant with local and VF regulations.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Ensuring all monthly PPMs are scheduled and completed and that the facilities are to the required standards
  • Managing third party contractors
  • Working closely with the Health & Safety team to ensure contractors have completed relevant Health & Safety inductions before commencing work on site
  • Creating purchase orders and receipting completed works
  • Tracking asset servicing and control of documentation such as compliance records
  • Reporting on sustainability

Skills for Success

You should be someone who has had some exposure to managing third-party contractors in a previous role with:

  • A fine attention to detail but also an open mindset – somebody who can see the implications of the bigger picture
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience with problem solving and conflict resolution
  • A good analytical background who can interpret information, data and reports
  • Strong communication skills who is able to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, clearly and concisely
  • Good peer to peer management experience with both internal and external teams
