THE NORTH FACE is looking for a Business Planner to join our Team based in Barcelona (Regular position).

Let’s Talk about the Role

You as a Business Planner will support The North Face Key Account Manager on the operations and the business development, through an excellent inventory management.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Preparation of the sales season: set up the master file (PRICAT) together with Costumer Service dept. to run the sales before delivering the collection to the stores.
  • Tracking of the sales season using all the data provided from the stores through Costumer Services dept. on a weekly basis, follow up and take actions with Account point person when needed.
  • Preparation and management of the master file to control and analyze the KPIs sales season: preorder, product selection, Initial deliveries, sell through, reorders, free stock availability, cancelations, stocks levels…
  • Tracking and control of the stock levels of the stores to support customer demand while keeping within inventory budgets to identify actions needed in order to maximize the business; stock level 0, stock transfers using Access application…
  • Tracking and control of the seasonal delivery plan/calendar by store classification (A, B, C) using stocks level information.
  • Control of discounts applied, price changes and margins on a weekly basis providing all the information to Account manager
  • Support on the Inventory process preparing and converting the information to be used by EDI (format…), update the process on the Retail Data Base and check stock levels with Sales Reports. Follow up with Stores the potential issues on the inventory. Coordinate with Costumer Service the returns to VF´s warehouse of the MO styles and coordinate the buyback process.
  • Support Account Coordinator on the GTM process; Forecast, targets, preorder definition, assortment, selection, by category, store… and placement into the system…
  • Prepare proposal of the Sales plan and promotions based on financial KPIs (margins…); discounts, sales period calendar/phases, styles… markdown support.
  • Check sales reports information with data received from the Account to identify potential mistakes.

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.

  • Education: Business background
  • Experience:  At least 2/3 years of experience in a similar role (analysis), experience in ECI or analysing big KA through EDI is a plus
  • Leadership: autonomous, responsible, open to other suggestions, proactive,
  • Language skills: Proficient Spanish and English
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical & reasoning skills, proficient in excel, focus in detail
  • Working knowledge of MS office tools (outlook, excel..)

  • Strong organization skills with ability to plan, prioritise and maintain focus.
